4.5” Glide, Glidebait

I bought this bait and fished it hard for smallmouth consistently for over a year. Sadly broke it off today. Great bait but 2 downsides. Hookup ratio with original hooks sucks. I have to say that the hooks that it came with a year ago (it may have changed) were pretty small for the bait and they weren't even lure treble hooks. They were the kind you can buy from Cablela's - the Eagle Claw ones. As soon as I changed the hooks, I stopped losing fish instantly. The second downside was that it doesn't stay up and down when you burn it. It will sometimes spin and roll. It also isn't a consistent wide grid all of the time. I still caught about 25 fish. I forgot to mention, that I got the white color and after about a week of fishing it, the hook rash removed most of the paint around the hooks, which I didn't mind. Definitely would buy again for a solid micro glide bait.

The finish is amazing I can't wait to use it!
